Great for the fireman at heart December 24, 2008 Ann Marie Aumann (Auburn Hills, MI) I bought this as a gift to my boyfriend-- a combat veteran marine. He loved it. The look on his face when he unwrapped the fireman's axe was pure glee! Certainly this is a high-quality emergency instrument that can be appreciated by boys young and old!
This is a nice axe. January 27, 2002 bryan (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My name is Bryan and I am a firefighter. I feel this is a great personal tool to have. I dont know how useful it is in construction but I love it in the fire service.
Usable and fun. January 23, 2002 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a Volunteer firefighter and I bought this to keep an axe with me for emergancy use (which hasn't happened yet) but at an extrication class i was able to put it through the door skin of a 1973 lincoln. Great because it is compact but there is nothing compact about the damage/fun you can have with it.
feels good in your hand August 15, 2000 San N. Dinh (Plano, TX USA) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have not actually used this axe to tear down anything yet, but it feels very comfortable, and very light. I will definitely use it for camping and hunting.
Great Tool July 21, 2000 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I am a volunteer fireman. The Truckman ax has a great feel to it, perfect balance and strikes like a much heavier tool. Going into a fire you need to know you have tools that can hold up to the harshest conditions and I know the Truckman can do it. Plus, it is the coolest looking thing!
