We looked everywhere for this particular hammer for our future son-in-law and were able to finally find it through Amazon!! Thank goodness! Working with Amazaon was a delight this Christmas season!
Great hammer! January 10, 2008 Joy Bell M. Braid 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My husband loved this gift - he says it's the most comfortable and durable hammer he's ever owned.
It's an Estwing.... January 10, 2008 R. Dunaway (Huntsville, AL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's an Estwing....what else is there to say? My framing hammer is an Estwing....my general shop hammer is an Estwing....and now my furniture hammer is an Estwing. These hammers don't break or EVER fail. You lose them or your friends "borrow" them and you have to get new ones. There *is* no other hammer out there.
Excellent Quality! December 1, 2007 Claude H. Suddreth (Phoenix, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have and have used a wide variety of hand tools. I can tell you that this product is made of the highest quality, and will give you a lifetime of good service with minimal maintenance. Highly recommended.
Tough to beat an Estwing! March 17, 2005 Cousin Vinny (Scottsdale, AZ United States) 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
I own a 16 oz claw and a 20 oz rip Estwing. Both hammers are roughly 20 years old and still going strong. Estwing's leather grip is excellent and the one-piece construction helps minimize bounce and shock. The hammers have good heft AND balance in the hand and as a "lefty", I find that they swing well with little or no arm/hand fatigue at the end of the day. As a handyman, I'm NOT swinging a hammer all day long so for my needs and purposes, Estwings are great - dependable, balanced and sturdy.
