I have had one of these hammers for more years that I can remember. I have added on to my house twice using this hammer. Put on two roofs using this hammer. With the straight claw, it is a rugged hard working hammer. At 16 oz you can work all day with it. The handle is tough and will pull any nail you can get the claw on. I wanted another just like it for my son. The new one has a little different rubber for the handle but is otherwise the same hammer. I was delighted to find it on the internet. Hope Vaughan doesn't leave the country to make this product.
