Arthritis appreciates January 17, 2010 Lee Carter This hammer makes for much less wear and tear on your wrist. At the end of a day of hammering, my wrist was getting upset with me. I have mot had near the pain at the end of the day using this hammer as compared to a traditional 16oz. hammer. I do pick up the old hammer however for driving cement nails or a hardened punch. I find the magnetic insert in the head useful for driving nails into hardbacker or similar where perfect placement is not critical. Worth the money.
Shoulda had this 15 years ago December 12, 2008 M. McKay (allover) Best lightweight I have ever owned. As a senior member of construction, this makes my day. Can't swing the heavys like I used to due to shoulder wearing out. This works perfect.Great design, buy this if you need a light finish hammer.
Stiletto 10z finish hammer February 21, 2008 K. C. R. Construction (Pacific Northwest, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought my 1st one about 7 years ago and my second about 5 years ago. The first is for finish work only, I love it so much I bought a second one, and now I use the 2nd one for siding and trim. There is no other hammer I would use. The lighter weight makes it easier to carry all day, and it drives nails better than steel.

My hips love me for lightening the load of a heavy tool belt full of steel. it weighs about half as much as a conventional finish hammer, kinda feels like it's not even there. If they only made a block plane...

Stiletto FH10-C 10-Ounce Titanium Finish Hammer
This is a great hammer. This 10 oz. hammer works just as good as the 16 oz. steel ones. I got one for myself and my daughter and son-in-law. My daughter said it is now her hammer of choice.
