| Customer Reviews: Great hammer for removing stuck on grout August 27, 2010 Ra88it The hammer does exactly what's claimed of it, vibration resistance, which in turn leads to longer work days / more productive work days.
brick hammer July 4, 2010 tom good hammer but I wish it were a little heavier
good quality stanley tool
Nice Hammer June 20, 2010 Al in Seattle (Seattle, Wa. USA) What can I say? The most primitive of tools reborn for the new millennium. Works like a charm. Tap, Tap or KaBoom! Vast improvement from the jaw bone in 2001 A Space Odyssey. Nicely finished, good value.
Digging Hammer! July 2, 2009 D. M. Harman 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Like the other review I don't use this for bricks. It's a garden tool for me. Planting a shrub near some tree roots, digging hammer makes short work of it. Got a slightly rocky patch of ground mixed with roots? Old weed barrier in the way? Digging hammer to the rescue.
If you can't loosen, get through, break up an area for planting with this, you need to move. It's well balanced, non slip and easy to swing.
The chisel end is about an inch wide, and will easily slice through an inch wide root in the soil clearing a path for planting.
Get one, who knew digging holes could be so much fun.
HAMMER FOR A ROCKHOUND April 25, 2009 Burney Cain (Dallas, TX USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great feeling hammer with a soft grip, good balance, and unique design to save your wrist and elbow from pain! It will not be used by me for bricklaying but rather to dig and chip at rock formations to hunt for crystals in the mountains of Arkansas or topaz and granite in the Hill Country of Texas. Price well below comparable hammers locally with plain wood handles. Just hated to see "Made in China" stamped on an American product.
