Amazon.com Product Description
The Stanley Jacketed Graphite Ball Pein Hammer features a heat-treated, high-carbon steel head for superior strength and durability. A rim-tempered process around the hammer's striking face minimizes chipping from off-center strikes; for further safety, the head is affixed to the handle with a patented assembly method for a permanent fit. The handle, constructed from graphite, features a molded jacket for maximum overstrike protection, as well as a cushioned, ergonomic grip for comfort and to absorb shock; its ribbed channels allow air to ventilate and cool the hand. The hammer's flared end provides greater control and reduces slippage. It is 16 inches long and weighs 32 ounces.
