Product Description This framing hammer features a titanium head, with a magnetized groove that holds the head of the nail while you set it, to protect your thumb and fingers. It's lightweight, at only 14 ounces, and has an ergonomic hickory handle to generate leverage.

Perfessional January 10, 2007 John Altenburg Best hammer head ever made. The handle will need to be replaced at some point and I suggust a hand crafted one to match the awsome'ness of the titanium head.
wo made up these prices? December 21, 2006 K. Driscoll (massachusetts) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
How can some one justify the price for these things. i own 3 of them.a 14oz, a 16oz, and the 15 t-bone the 14 does not hit like a 24 oz. i have a 24oz and that hammer puts this thing to shame. one lick and i'm on to the next nail. this one three or some times four.but one thing is for sure, you can swing this thing all day long and still have more juice when you get home. nice and lightweight but definately a propaganda.
great hammer, easy on the hands November 27, 2006 Adrian Rollett (St. Louis) I bought this hammer nearly two years ago, and have swung it more or less six days a week since then. If, like me, your hand is hurting after a day swinging a framing hammer, buy this one and you won't regret it. It feels like a toy, but it'll match a 22 oz. steel hammer swing for swing. One piece of advice - once the handle breaks, (it will, it's a wooden handle) instead of buying another wooden handle and breaking it again right away, go to a place that puts fiberglass handles in - it's just as light, and ten times as durable.
a every day hammer October 21, 2002 jason (salinas.ca usa) 3 out of 10 found this review helpful
If i am doinging demo or finish.this is the only hammer i use .the contoly is not matched by any other .i my self, cut a couple of inches out of the handle.the magnet on the top is also great for picking things up that you have droped in hard to reach places. I have had mine for couple of years and have not broken a handle yet.the in side radis is great foe rounding over corner.stillrto is the only thing i swing
Had to try it! January 17, 2002 Christopher A. Bieker (Celestine, IN United States) After hearing the titanium hype for over a year, I had to get one. After using it for a couple of months, I havn't had any problems. It still takes a few more hits to drive larger nails. I like my 25oz. steel hammer for heavy framing. I like using the Stilletto for white pine and sheet goods. It sure is a conversation piece on the job sites, but probably not worth the extra money(at least to me).
